1. Introduction
Stokt, LLC (“Stokt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Stokt™studio and its associated software applications and websites (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our Services you agree to this Policy.
2. Information we collect
We aim to collect as little information as possible. Depending on which of our Services you use, we may collect:
- Contact information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address when you contact support.
- Diagnostic and usage data, such as anonymized crash reports and aggregate performance metrics, used to improve reliability.
- Device information, such as device model and OS version, attached to crash reports to help us reproduce issues.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, health data, financial data, or advertising identifiers.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our Services, respond to support requests, detect and fix bugs, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers:
- Apple App Store & App Analytics— for distribution, purchases, and aggregate, privacy-preserving usage analytics provided by Apple.
- Crash reporting— to receive anonymized diagnostic reports when our apps encounter errors.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We share only what is necessary to provide the Services.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, or asset sale), in which case we will notify affected users.
6. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Support correspondence is typically retained for up to 24 months. Diagnostic data is retained for up to 12 months.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@stokt.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we process. No system is perfectly secure, but we design our Services to minimize the amount of personal information at risk.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after the change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
